Before we endorse, we ask candidates to commit to a clear standard: fair taxation, open government, protected neighborhoods, clean water, real climate action, and an economy that serves the people who live here.

Our record
Before this election, Austin United and allied neighbors fought for the places that make this city worth protecting.
We helped lead the effort behind the Zilker Vision Plan fight, which was stopped on August 9, 2023. It drew citywide media attention and demonstrated what organized neighbors can accomplish.
We are engaged in the current fight over the massive Dog's Head Development in Austin's Eastern Crescent, standing with environmental advocates and affected neighborhoods.
